Marco is a seasoned professional in the field of electric mobility, with extensive experience in charging infrastructure and EV user experience (UX) testing. He holds a Master Professional degree in Technical Management which culminated in a master's thesis on charging infrastructure. In his role as an Automotive Research Analyst at the automotive market research and consulting firm SBD Automotive, he helps the automotive industry improve the EV user experience, drive innovation, and navigate the rapidly evolving e-mobility landscape. Before Marco joined SBD in 2019, he worked for several years at BMW, where he focused on diagnostics and gained hands-on experience with EV technology, igniting his passion for the topic.

Mr. Husarek is an R&D research scientist and expert at Siemens for e-Mobility, energy systems and data modeling. He has four years of experience in modelling and analyzing of e-Mobility data at Siemens. This includes geodata modelling, optimization techniques and Agent-based modelling for mobility and charging behavior. In his role he supports consulting projects as e-Mobility expert. Selected projects comprise countrywide charging site allocation for a Middle East Utility, E-Mobility integration assessment for a German city with electrical load allocation and distribution grid assessment, and business model analysis for charging stations including power procurement optimization at site. Mr. Husarek is based in Munich, Germany. Mr. Husarek has a Master of Science in electrical engineering and business administration from RWTH Aachen University and successfully defended his Doctoral thesis about the role of the mobility sector in a decarbonized energy system at Technical University of Darmstadt in November 2022.
