Hannes Bauer is the CEO of the truzzt GmbH and also the CEO of the Orbiter.de GmbH truzzt GmbH.
In 1996 Hannes launched, the first German-language search engine "Kolibri". Cooperation partners were Pro7, a German broadcaster, and computer pioneer Silicon Graphics International.
In 2000 he filed a patent for a fingerprinting technology, a process for interactive communication between an Internet-capable browser and an Internet-capable web server. The docket number was DE: 10028 646.1
In 2011 he developed the 'Empfehlen' portal for Deutsche Telekom. It was operated until 2016. In a joint venture with Bertelsmann from 2012 to 2016, this was a successful application for fraud prevention.
