This session, led by the German eMobility Association, will guide participants through the various aspects and challenges of electric vehicle charging. Experts will discuss how optimizing the charging curve can save costs and what security risks exist in electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), including current trends, attack patterns and effective countermeasures. In addition, we take a look at the future of EV charging in 2029 - what trends are emerging and what amusing misconceptions exist. Finally, the e-mobility market will be examined by the respective associations in the DACH region, with a focus on current implementations and the best political instruments to promote electromobility. The target audience is primarily operators of charging infrastructure, vehicle manufacturers, energy suppliers, policy makers and safety experts who want to gain an in-depth understanding of the technical and regulatory aspects of electric vehicle charging.
