About Philipp Senoner und Alpitronic

Philipp Senoner is co-founder and CEO of Alpitronic, one of the leading manufacturers of high-power-charging (HPC) equipment. In his role as a board member of ChargeUp Europe, he actively shapes the discussion leading to novel legislative projects and new legal and technical requirements for charging infrastructure.

Philipp Senoner was born in Brixen, South Tyrol, Italy. After graduating from the secondary industrial school in Bolzano, he pursued an academic degree in electrical engineering with a focus on Control and automation technology at the renowned Technical University of Munich.
In 2002 he commenced his professional career as a system engineer at Silver-Atena, a subsidiary of MTU. His drive for further education led him to postgraduate studies at the Fern-Uni Hagen, which consolidated his entrepreneurial skills. This experience also laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial ambitions.

In 2009, Philipp Senoner co-founded Alpitronic with Sigrid Zanon, Andreas Oberrauch, and Alessandro Ciceri. Under his stewardship, the company transformed from a highly specialized power electronics engineering service provider with five employees to one of the leading HPC equipment manufacturer in Europe, boasting a workforce of almost 1,000.
