Flexibilities – New Business Fields for Utilities and Companies

Free Webinar

Tuesday, March 09 2021 | 11am–12am | Webinar Language: German

The massive restructuring of the energy industry and digitization are forcing established regional energy suppliers to change and adapt to the market. The companies cannot escape these developments and can only participate if they develop new business models at an early stage. For example, maintaining grid stability and the need for sector coupling in the wake of the increasing share of volatile renewable power generation are opening up new fields of activity for energy suppliers.

In the webinar, an expert from Statkraft Markets GmbH explains how real and flexible green power solutions can meet the requirements for simultaneity of consumption and generation as well as significant generation from Germany. A best practice example from the comprehensive digitization platform bentonet shows how sector coupling of innovative generation plants is implemented.

During the webinar participants can submit their questions to get them answered by the experts in the live Q&A. In addition, both the recording and the speakers' presentations are made available to all registrants after the webinar.
